Since it was first introduced in Japan in 2000, the Nissan X-Trail became one of the most popular Compact SUVs amid the massive crossover and SUV trends at the turn of the Millennium. Fast forward 20 years later, the Nissan X-Trail (or Rogue) became the third best-selling Compact SUV in the United States. Under the 2019 Toyota RAV4 model, and the Honda CR-V, whose latest generation is present in 2017, while the X-Trail (T32) is currently in circulation since 2013. Given that rivals are already present with the latest generation, the Nissan X-Trail 2021 debuted for the first time on the American market on June 15, 2020, replacing the previous generation that was quite successful in the market.
