The era of the electric car has started from some years ago. It is reasonable if some big brands compete with each other to release their electric car products. One of them is Nissan with some series that have been released previously. In 2020, the Japanese brand is scheduled to launch its newest electric car product, 2020 Nissan Leaf. Power

The car features the technology of e-Pedal. It enables the driver to drive with a pedal only. The electric motor is placed in front wheels with a power up to 110 kW or it equals 147 Horsepower. With that amount of power, the car can run with very high speed up to 140 km per hour. Another factor that makes the car is very powerful is because of its Inverter application. The inverter is functioned to change DC to AC and to the electric motor. Furthermore, the energy source comes from the Lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 40 kWh.

Sure, there is an improvement from the first generation of Nissan Leaf. Nissan claims that the new generation applies a battery enables the car to have a mileage 15% longer than the first, it also helps the vehicle to improve its acceleration ability. For a charge, Nissan Leaf can run up to 270 km. Additionally, the peak of torsion is very big also, up to 320 Nm. It is supported with power of 147 Horsepower.
The acceleration is the next key point that makes the 2020 Nissan Leaf feels more sophisticated. The car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph only in 7.9 seconds. The number indicates a very fast acceleration, similar to a car with a conventional engine with 2,000 Turbo.

Design

Slightly, Nissan seems to focus on the power and performance in this series. Many components and features are added to make it a very powerful electric car in its class indeed. However, the brand still pays attention to the design and details in this series. Generally, the change is not significant compared with the previous Nissan Leaf generation. But here, 2020 Nissan Leaf has used a headlamp LED with DRL on the top. It makes the car’s design more modern and stylish. For the interior, it is equipped with a Head Unit of 8 inches with supports from Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

As information, Nissan Leaf is divided into 4 more types; they are Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and E+ Tekna. Each type will be marketed in certain areas although it has not been confirmed yet what area they are. The cheapest type is the 2020 Nissan Leaf Acenta type. For this type, the car has been featured with a sophisticated safety system. the system namely Nissan Safety Shield that consists of Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Recognition, Intelligent Lane Intervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, High-Beam Assist, and Intelligent Cruise Control.

Price
